Dhanushka advises on Australia’s major taxes including income tax, stamp duty, GST, and employment taxes, bringing a holistic approach to the table. He regularly provides bespoke tax solutions to a diverse range of corporate structures and transactions in Mergers & Acquisitions, Funds Management, Insolvency & Restructuring, Banking & Finance, and Property matters.

Dhanushka holds postgraduate qualifications in law and taxation and is a Chartered Tax Adviser.

  • A wholesale institutional stockbroker on the tax aspects of its partially underwritten $694 million capital raise.
  • The administrators of a stationery retailer on the GST aspects of the sale of 30 Australian stores.
  • A private equity fund on the tax aspects of a cross border syndicated facility for $200 million in connection with a $2 billion IPO on NYSE.
  • A fund manager on the income tax and stamp duty aspects of their joint acquisition of a logistics park for $1.67 billion.
