Dennis Bluth

Dennis specialises in all areas of property law including acquisitions, disposals and leases of commercial, industrial and retail property assets and also in respect of residential property development. He is an accredited property lawyer by the Law Society of NSW.

Dennis has extensive experience in commercial conveyancing, due diligence and commercial, individual and retail leasing. He regularly represents Public Companies, ASX listed REITs and Private investors.

Dennis has been recognised in Doyle’s Guide as a “recommended” New South Wales property and real estate lawyer. He is a member of various associations including: the Law Society Property Committee, the Property Services Advisory Council and the General Practice Section of the Law Council of Australia. He is also a part time Judicial Member of the Administrative Decisions Tribunal, Retail Leases Division, where he hears cases and writes judgments.

Dennis has been named “Lawyer of the Year’ for Leasing Law in Best Lawyers™ Australia 2019 edition.


Dennis’ recent experience includes:

  • Commercial and retail: Acted on the acquisition and sale of large commercial buildings and shopping centres in Sydney circa $50 to $500 million;
  • Church Street, Parramatta: Acting on the sale of a large development site in Church Street, Parramatta for $150 million including assisting in obtaining of rezoning, the entering into a VPA with Parramatta Council and subject marketing and sale;
  • Council: Acting for Council on the redevelopment of council carpark into multi level carpark, retail centre with major supermarket and other retailers and open space including AFLs and leases; and
  • Developers: Acting for developers in acquiring development sites and then off the plan sales of apartments.
