Anthony Jreige

Anthony is a partner in HWL Ebsworth’s Property Team and has extensive experience practising in all areas of property law.

Anthony is particularly experienced in acquisitions, sales and leasing of commercial, retail and industrial properties as well as acting for developers in relation to residential and mixed use property development projects.

Anthony acts and has acted for a broad range of clients, including leader property trusts and managed investment funds, major corporates, high net worth individuals, private companies and insolvency practitioners.


Anthony’s recent experience includes:

  • Commercial property acquisitions: Acted on the acquisition 92 Pitt Street Sydney, 56 Clarence Street Sydney and Eclipse Tower Parramatta;
  • Commercial property sales: Acted on the sale 146 Arthur Street North Sydney and 35 Boundary St South Brisbane;
  • Commercial and industrial property leasing: Acted for PFD Food Services on the development and pre-commitment leasing of a bespoke cold store and dry store warehouse and distribution facility.  Acted for Goodman and Stockland in relation to development pre-commitment leasing and portfolio commercial office and industrial premises leasing;
  • Supermarket and retail: Acted for Coles, ALDI and McDonald’s both on landlord and tenant pre-commitment leasing in various developments;
  • Mixed use property development: Acted for Deicorp on the acquisition of a greenfield site in Kellyville and the development of a mixed use residential and retail precinct including apartments, land lots and a shopping centre. Assisted with the marketing, launch and off the plan sale of apartments and land lots, project financing, pre-commitment leasing to a major supermarket operator as anchor tenant and general leasing of premises within the retail centre; and
  • Residential property development: Acted on the acquisition of a landmark development site in Waterloo, project financing and off the plan sale of apartments in the project.
