HWLE advises Wesfarmers on its agreement to sell Cm3 to Achilles Group

HWLE Lawyers has advised Wesfarmers on its agreement to sell Cm3 to Achilles, with the transaction being subject to approval from the Foreign Investment Review Board.

Cm3 is a contractor management software business and is a significant player in the Australian contractor management market.  It is part of the Blackwoods Group in Wesfarmers’ Bunnings division.

Achilles is a global supply chain risk and performance management company, headquartered in the UK and owned by Bridgepoint Group.

The HWLE deal team was led by Jamie Restas (Chair of Partners), Nick Karagiannis (Partner), Shane Lloyd (Special Counsel), Tyson Brazel (Associate) and Maddison Gain (Solicitor), with valuable assistance from Daniel Kiley (Partner) and Maximilian Soulsby (Associate) in relation to IP and IT aspects, Claire Raimondo (Partner) in relation to employment and industrial relations aspects, Simon Ellis (Partner) and Laura Fiebig (Solicitor) in relation to competition aspects and Cam Steele (Partner) and Sarah Wedding (Senior Associate) in relation to FIRB aspects.
