HWLE advises Nornickel on its strategic exit from Australia

HWL Ebsworth is delighted to announce that a team led by Sean Houthuysen advised Russian miner Nornickel on the sale of its interest in the Honeymoon Well Project to BHP Nickel West. The sale will complete Nornickel’s exit from its Australian mining investments as part of its strategic pivot towards Tier 1 Russian assets. It also provides an exciting opportunity for BHP Nickel West to bring a new greenfield project into development.
