HWL Ebsworth acted for AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) in its acquisition of 44% interest in the Australian Diversified Healthcare Fund (ADHF). Following completion, AXA IM holds 44% of ADHF, the UK-based property business Grosvenor Group holds 50% of ADHF and Centuria’s newly acquired fund manager Centuria Heathley holds 6%. The parties are aiming to create a $500 million healthcare real estate portfolio across Australia, with seed assets worth $88 million being the Mater Hospital in Townsville and the Westside Private Hospital in Taringa, Brisbane.
