The opportunity
We have a unique opportunity for a dynamic and committed candidate to join our growing Sydney Health team working with Partner Scott Chapman and highly regarded Lawyers within the industry. You will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of subject matter files including, Employment/ Contractor arrangements in the public and private hospital sectors including IRC proceedings, Hospital based investigations, VMO contracts, terms and conditions, Professional Conduct including NCAT proceedings, Medicare audits, Government Inquiries, Contracts and Service Agreements, Privacy and Health Policy.
You will be a key part of a very collegiate team who work closely together, share ideas, support one another, and strive to provide a high-quality service to clients.
Responsibilities
- end to end management of regulatory complaints and investigations
- provision of timely and accurate written advice to clients
- direct marketing and engagement with clients
- exciting opportunity to work on upcoming projects
To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have
- 3+ years PAE
- strong interest in the health industry
- knowledge of the public and private health system (preferred not essential)
- excellent writing skills and ability to engage well with clients
- passion for medico-legal issues and claims management
- ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Self-starter
