The Opportunity

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious senior lawyer who is ready to make their own mark.

We currently have positions available for senior lawyers in both front-end and back-end roles.

We offer our senior lawyers a breadth of experience and opportunities that cannot be matched. Our C&I Practice Group, which currently comprises of 6 Partners and an exceptionally talented group of Lawyers across all levels, is uniquely placed within the legal market and is able to access all parts of the construction industry. Our size, experience and expertise attracts instructions from tier-one contractors, Commonwealth and State Governments, listed developers and sovereign wealth funds. Equally, we are able to offer value-for-money services for small to medium projects and support senior lawyers to develop their own practice.

We do not work in specific teams or silos and you will be encouraged to work with all partners and lawyers. This philosophy allows our lawyers to find and work in areas that they are passionate about.

Accountabilities

Specific accountabilities for a front-end role include:

  • Leading teams of lawyers on transactions – from mega projects to small/medium
  • Strategic advice
  • Pursuing business development opportunities

Specific accountabilities for a back-end role include:

  • Leading teams of lawyers for dispute resolution
  • Running litigation, arbitration and adjudications as required
  • Pursuing business development opportunities

Skills and Experience

Skills and experience required for this role include the following:

  • 5-8 years PAE
  • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities
  • Strong leadership skills to assist in developing our junior cohort who are exceptionally talented, motivated and passionate.
