The opportunity

We have an opportunity for the right candidate to join our highly regarded Brisbane Construction & Infrastructure Practice led by Ross Williams, together with Paul Gordon and Colin Harris. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to specialise in construction and infrastructure law encompassing both front and back end construction with exposure to a wide range of clients in the building, renewables, civil, infrastructure, mining, education and health sectors. In this role you will:

  • provide advice on construction contracts;
  • manage litigation, arbitration and adjudication from start to finish;
  • work on claims and disputes arising out of major infrastructure projects
  • advise on legislation impacting the construction industry.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • at least two plus years post-admission experience;
  • excellent communication skills;
  • exposure to, and a genuine interest in, construction law;
  • strong drafting skills;
  • commercial acumen and critical thinking capabilities; and
  • leadership skills commensurate with your post admission experience.
