About you

To succeed in this role, ideally, you’ll have:

  • experience in an administration, legal, secretarial or compliance based role;
  • a high level of attention to detail;
  • a strong commitment to client service;
  • the ability to manage competing priorities and be highly organised;
  • excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
  • intermediate excel skills (or the want to develop them); and
  • the ability to work both in a team or autonomously and take initiative.

About the opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity for a detail-focussed Reporting and Compliance Officer to join our team. This is a newly created role which will support the growth of and high service delivery to the largest client of the firm, through the provision of compliance, reporting and business development related advisory services. We’re ideally looking for someone to work 4 days per week and the successful candidate must be based in Canberra.

Day-to-day you’ll be busy with tasks such as:

  • contributing to the ongoing deliverables of agreements for the Commonwealth Government and related entities nationally;
  • taking responsibility for compliance requirements such as security arrangements, membership applications and declarations;
  • work with client relationship partners and client teams to co-ordinate reporting requirements for relationship management and relationship compliance activities;
  • monitoring and reporting on changes in circumstances that could impact compliance and client agreement requirements;
  • developing and maintaining an understanding of clients’ business operations, objectives, opportunities and challenges; and
  • monitoring and reporting on the performance of the client against the relationship plan and agreements.
