With over 20 years’ experience in property and development law, Lydia’s market knowledge enables her to provide clients with efficient, cost effective and practical solutions focussed on maximising commercial outcomes for her clients.

Lydia has particular expertise in residential off the plan land and apartment developments, from preliminary due diligence review and acquisition structuring through the entire life cycle of a development through to the delivery of high volume conveyancing services.

Experience

Lydia’s recent experience includes:

  • Large publicly list developer: Advising in relation to their land projects for the last 19 years, including acquisition of land, development agreements, construction agreements, leases, licences, off the plan contracts and settlements for greenfield residential developments and master-planned communities;
  • Builders and developers: Advising in the construction and development of medium and high rise apartment and mixed-use developments;
  • Landowners and developers: Advising in relation to joint venture and development agreements;
  • Fund manager: Advising on the acquisition of a large commercial/retail shopping centre in Melbourne’s inner-east, including substantial due diligence on leasing; and
  • Private developer: Advising on the acquisition of a Melbourne CBD office building, including substantial due diligence on property management issues.
