Jonathan’s area of legal expertise covers property law. In particular Jonathan’s expertise covers residential and commercial acquisitions and sales, residential communities and commercial project development work. Jonathan also has considerable experience in joint venture and development agreements.
Jonathan assists his property developer and property owner clients in their transactions (whether it be a sale, development or acquisition) ensuring they are at all times protected but also wherever possible ensuring the transaction is completed in a commercial and efficient manner.

Experience
Jonathan’s experience includes advising:
- Mirvac Group on the purchase of a significant residential site for the development of over 3,000 residential lots and subsequent development of that project;
- Investec Property Limited on the purchase of fringe CBD office tower and the sale of CBD office tower;
- Villawood on 3 significant acquisitions on the purchase of residential sites including detailed planning and property due diligence;
- Public Company on a significant acquisition and development management agreement in relation to a residential subdivision in excess of 1,500 lots; and
- General Project Work on the sale of en globo commercial sites as well as the preparation of off the plan residential and commercial sale contracts, preparation of easements and other project work for residential subdivisions for public companies for projects with in excess of 4,000 residential lots and 10,000 residential lots and also including a significant commercial component.
