Alex Koidl
Alex specialises in property and property development law. He helps clients to navigate significant real estate transactions and developments in Australia.
Alex acts for clients acquiring, developing and disposing of prime residential, commercial, retail and industrial sites. His practice also has a significant focus on all aspects of ‘off the plan’ sales and the preparation of related contracts.
Throughout his career Alex has been involved with and advised on numerous major high rise apartment developments and residential greenfields projects.
Alex also assists clients to establish appropriate structures for holding and developing various sites and developments.
Experience
Alex’s recent experience includes:
- Developers: Acting in relation to undertaking large apartment/mixed use projects comprising between 10 and 650 apartments;
- Developers: Assisting in relation to undertaking green fields/master planned projects ranging between 150 to 2000 lots;
- Real estate investment funds: Assisting in relation to the acquisition of a major CBD office building with values ranging from $30 millions at $280 million;
- Family office: Assisting with the acquisition of a shopping centre valued at $80 million;
- Hotel: Assisting clients with the acquisition and disposal of hotel portfolio across Australia and the Asia Pacific region; and
- Industrial and office: Assisting corporations with the negotiation of leases and agreements for lease.
